We have been in California for 5 months now. Time goes by fast. In this blog entry I am sharing some pictures from our time here in California this semester. A lot of nice weather, beach fun, and date fun=). It is like a whole new start of our life together as a married couple, new place, new friends, new lifestyle. It`s challenging and exciting all at once. Take a look at our pictures from the last couple of months. I love to share nice memories=)
Hanging out at Avila Beach
We have been hiking Bishops Peak a lot. So much fun and HOT...
His first day around campus before school started. So excited and overwhelmed. The school is huuuge.
Hiking Madonna Hill is also fun, but we like Bishops Peak the best.
Love the view and I just love the landscape around here.
Cal Poly Football game.. we love those games. And we absolutely love the tailgating before the games. I don`t know too much about football yet, but it is super exciting.
Here in San Luis some of the big mountain tops has big letters in the middle of the hill. Madonna Hill has a big M in the middle of the hill, so we hiked up there one day.
So we were so lucky that we got to help remodel the whole apartment we live in now. That helped us get the houserent cheaper for a whole year. YAY. So we got to learn a whole bunch of new things. I`m happy for the experience. It was hard work. But the apartment looks great now. Here are some pictures of the prosess and how the apartment looks like today.
Spraypaint is amazing. We make boring furnitures into beautiful furnitures just by spraypainting.
Our creative earring hanger. I love when we can save money by doing stuff like this. Matthew is so creative. I learn a lot from him.
This is a while back, but we got to have this beauty for a day while our car was being fixed. SOO much fun. I have always dreamed of having a bug.
Tyler came visiting and we all went to the beach. Fun times.
Matthew has been painting a lot this semester. I am happy to see that. He is so talented.

It`s important to enjoy the sun aaaall the time, even though we have sun all day every day.
Started my new life in San Luis Obispo with Pneumonia (lungebetennelse). Not very fun. I did like all the americans do, wait until the last second to go to the doctor. So on the 4th day with high fever and lots of pain, I realized it was more then the flue and went to see the doctor. Good thing.
Familydinner at the apartment. We are happy to have such a great roomie=).
Lunch at the park at school. It`s fun for me to come and hang out around campus.
So this is funny to me. This is how packages get delivered here. They just leave them outside the doorstep. What if someone else steals them? Well, at least I don`t have to go to the post office to get them.

One of my favorite things about Pismo is definitely the sunsets. they are soooo breathtaking.

Guess who was randomly on the frontpage of my school back home in Norway? Yeah, me, reading in the library at school. That was so random to me.
We got to be part of seeing these two butterflies get married=). Love them both. I have enjoyed getting to know them lately. They are super fun.
